St. Catherine’s Monastery & Dahab City

In the early morning, you will be met and transferred by our Egyptologist from your hotel via a modern air-conditional vehicle to St.Catherine monastery, driving three hours through the desert and you will enjoy the landscape.

The monastery of St.Catherine is the oldest Christian monastery still in existence in the world and houses the richest collection of icons and precious manuscripts. it dates back to 6^th century, the monastery was built by order of the Roman Emperor Justinian enclosing the chapel of the Burning Bush ordered to be built by Helena, the mother of Constantine, at the site where Moses(peace be upon him)spoke with the lord, you see also the church of transfiguration and Moses well

Lunch & shopping

Then we will drive approximately 90 minutes to Dahab city to get our lunch there in a restaurant is located in front of Aqaba Gulf and do shopping in the local bazaar.
